Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal College popularly known as ABN Seal, earlier Victoria College, is a state-government owned co-educational college in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India. It was established in 1888 and offers undergraduate and postgraduate education. The college is affiliated with the Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University and accredited as A by NAAC. Eligibility Criteria for ABN Seal College:
Only the students who have qualified Higher Secondary/equivalent examination (please see the admission schedule) during the last three academic sessions (i.e., 2018, 2019, 2020) are eligible for application. A candidate may apply for honours if only the following conditions are fulfilled:-
i) 55% in the aggregate or
ii) 50% in the aggregate with 60% in the subject.
iii) For SC/ST applicants eligibility criteria is 50% in the aggregate or
iv) 45% in the aggregate with 60% in the subject.
ABN Seal College Counselling:
Admission is made strictly on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination, keeping in view the stipulated Rules and Regulations set by the University of Calcutta and the Higher Education Department of State Government. There is also a provision of reservation of seat of
SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Govt. Rules. A set of self-attested testimonials with a duly filled application form is needed to submit during verification at college.
