Alipurduar Mahila Mahavidyalaya, established in 2007, is the women’s college in Alipurduar. It offers undergraduate courses in arts. The campus is in the Alipurduar district. It is affiliated with the University of North Bengal. The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The demand for a dedicated girls’ college in Alipurduar was materialized in the year 2007 with the establishment of Alipurduar Mahila Mahavidyalaya.
Eligibility Criteria for Alipurduar Mahila Mahavidyalaya Admission 2021-22 – Online Application
Admission Criteria:
Students who have passed the Higher Secondary examination (10+2) conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary education (W.B.C.H.S.E.) after a period of 12 years study or any other equivalent (10+2) pattern examination conducted by the I.S.C. or C.B.S.E. or any other board recognized as equivalent by the North Bengal University, provided the student has passed in at least four subjects with English as a compulsory subject, excluding Environmental
Studies/Environmental Education.
A candidate may apply for Honours if only the following conditions are fulfilled:-
i) 55% in the aggregate or
ii) 50% in the aggregate with 60% in the subject.
iii) For SC/ST applicants eligibility criteria is 50% in the aggregate or
iv) 45% in the aggregate with 60% in the subject.
