Eligibility Criteria for Assam Police Department 1238 Constable, Firemen Recruitment 2020
Educational Qualifications:
› Constable (APRO) / Sub Officer – 12th pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. Experience in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer, IT or Allied Environment will be preferable (for Constable post only).
› Constable (UB) – 12th pass from a recognized Board
› Constable (Messenger) – HSLC Passed or equivalent from a recognized Board or Council and Having Driving License in LMV and MMV.
› Constable (Carpenter) – HSLC Passed or equivalent from a recognized Board or Council and passed prescribed ITI course in trade
› Firemen – Class 12th pass (Science)
Age Limit & Relaxation: Required age limit for these posts is between 18 years to 24 years as on 01/01/2020 and between 20 years to 24 years for Sub Officer Post. The upper Age limit will be relaxed for the reserved candidates as per Government rule.
