Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Honours Programs
A candidate who has passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent Examination is eligible to seek admission to the 1st year of the 3-year B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. (Honours), The course of studies provided he/she has also passed in English having full marks not being less than 100 and fulfils the conditions. A candidate taking up Honours Course in a subject must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the Honours or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. OR, 55% marks in the Honours or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
City College Merit List:
The merit list of Valid application will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit lists will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In case of a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever.
Counselling for City College Admission:
Admission is made strictly on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination, keeping in view the stipulated Rules and Regulations set by the University of Calcutta and the Higher Education Department of State Government.
