Candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination from All India Board or Councils (i.e. WBCHSE/WBBME/CBSE/CISCE//NIOS/Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya is eligible to apply for Hons. and General Courses in B.A./B.Sc/ B.Com and BBA Hons. (self-financed) provided they fulfil all the criteria under the University of Calcutta to study the courses. For admission in Hons. Courses in any of the streams mentioned above, a candidate belonging to General Category must secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in the subject of Hons. A candidate belonging to SC/ ST/OBCA/OBC B must have an aggregate of 40% and 40% marks in the subject of Hons. For admission in General Courses in any of the streams mentioned above, a candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with English as a subject containing not less than 100 marks.
