Govt. Gen. Degree College Admission Criteria:
Only those candidates, who have passed their H.S. or equivalent examinations in the years 2018, 2019 or 2020 are eligible to apply. To be eligible to apply both for Honours and General Courses, a student must obtain pass marks in five recognized subjects including at least one language subject in H.S. or equivalent examinations. Candidates who have passed H.S. or equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (best of five excluding Environment studies) or 50% marks in the subject are eligible to apply for admission in the Honours course. In the case of B.Sc. Honours, the candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in his/her H.S. or equivalent examination. Applicants from vocational courses (H.S. level) are eligible to apply only for B.A. General Course. Any candidate seeking admission in Lab-based subjects; he/she must have obtained pass marks in those subjects in H.S. or equivalent examination.
