Haringhata Mahavidyalaya, established in 1986, is a general degree college in Nadia district. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences. It is affiliated to the University of Kalyani. The college is located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from Barajaguli, beside National Highway 34. Students who have passed the 10+2 level examination in 2020 or 2019 from any recognized board in India (e.g. ISC, CBSE, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education and other boards of other states) are eligible for application to this college. Percentage of marks in related subjects in (+2)/H.S Examination as per the recommendation of the respective department, subject to a minimum percentage of marks prescribed by the affiliated university. Relaxation in the required percentage of marks is given for SC/ST/PH and students having expertise in sports and games.
