Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air Force Recruitment Rally 2020 – Apply for Airmen Group Y (Non-Technical)
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed intermediate / 10+2/ Class or Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English approved by Central/State Education Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Age Limit: The age limit of the applicant should be between 17 years to 20 years as on 01/01/2020. Candidates must be born between 17/01/2020 and 30/01/2003.
Other Requirements: Permanent residents of designated districts of State of Gujarat or UT of Diu & Daman or Dadar & Nagar Haveli who have passed the qualifying examination from anywhere in India shall produce the domicile certificate prior to commencement of examination from appropriate authority as given on official notification.

Training & Tenure: Selected candidates will enroll for an initial period of 20 years (subject to condition) which may be extended up to the age of 57 years. Candidates shall be sent for a Join Basic Phase Training (JBPT). After successful completion of JBPT candidates will be sent to trade training of specific duration. Only After successfully completion of all stages of training, the Airmen shall be deployed on the job as per their allotted trades.
Salary Scale: During training, the applicant will get rs. 14600/- per month as stipend. On completion of training, candidates will be placed on the pay scale of Rs. 26900/- including Military Service Pay with Deamess allowance which in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progress.
