Eligibility Criteria for Jibantala Rokeya Mahavidyalaya Admission 2021-22
Secondary (10+2) or its equal assessment during the period 2016 to 2019 is qualified to look for admission to the first semester of the six-semester B.A. (Hons and Gen.) The course of studies gave he/she has additionally gone in English having full stamps not being under 100. Candidates who have passed 10+2 course during the period 2013–2015 are eligible for provisional admission subject to the approval of WBSU.
A candidate taking up Honours Course in a subject must have obtained:
A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate (best of 4, excluding ENVS) and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination Best of 4 and excluding ENVS). OR 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. OR 50% marks in the aggregate (best of 4, excluding ENVS) when the candidate has not studied the subject in his/her previous qualifying examination provided all the other clauses are satisfied.
However, candidates belonging to the SC or ST community taking up an honours course of study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate and 40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination, as the case may be. Candidates (all categories) taking gen. course must obtain pass marks (best of 4, excluding ENVS) in the previous qualifying examination.
