Eligibility Criteria for Loreto College Admission 2021-22 – Counselling of Loreto College
Loreto College Admission Criteria:
Students who have passed the 10+2 level examination in 2020 or 2019 from any recognized board in India (e.g. ISC, CBSE, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education and other boards of other states) are eligible for application to this college. Foreign students with completely published results of 10+2 level or equivalent examinations are eligible for application. A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with 45% marks in the subject or relevant subjects at the previous qualifying examination in which that subject is included. OR 55% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination. OR 50% marks in aggregate when the candidate takes up Honours in the subject not included in his / her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied.

♦ Personal Counselling is an integral part of the College. Personal Counselling is offered by a designated counsellor and by
teachers. More Professional counselling is available to students from Sanhita an NGO working for women’s issues. The services of a Lady Doctor are also available for students who need counselling.
♦ Career Counselling is also provided by the college. The students are exposed to various career options – academic or otherwise. Students are helped with lectures and short term courses to groom them for interviews and group discussions. HRD sections from industry conduct campus visits.
♦ Academic Counselling is provided for all students within their departments, at every stage of their progression through the college. Remedial classes are conducted by all departments.
