Admission Procedure for the Session of 2021-22:
A student may be admitted to B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. 03 Years Degree Course (Gen./Hons.) after passing the Higher Secondary exam in the general stream conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education in (10+2) pattern after a period of 12 years study or an exam recognized as equivalent by the University provided he/she has passed in at least 05 subjects with English and Environmental Studies as compulsory subjects. In the case of other boards wherein Environmental Studies is not a compulsory subject, the student shall have to pass in at least five subjects with English as a compulsory subject.
How to Apply for the Malda College Admission 2021-22

Malda College Merit List:
Admission will be strictly on a merit basis. The merit point of an applicant will be judged by taking into account 10% of the marks obtained in the best five subjects and the marks obtained in the subject applied for. Merit list for admission will be based on marks obtained in the best five subjects including two languages and three elective subjects for Honours subjects. Applicant having only one language subject will not be entertained.

Admission is made strictly on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination, keeping in view the stipulated Rules and Regulations set by the University of Gour Banga and the Higher Education Department of State Govt.
