Eligibility Criteria for Manbhum Mahavidyalaya Admission 2021-22 – Online Application
Admission Criteria of Manbhum College:
Candidates who passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of four approved subjects (each of 100 as Full Marks and prescribed pass marks) only are allowed to apply for admission, provided ‘Course-wise Eligibility Criteria for Application’ are fulfilled. All candidates must have passed in English with 100 marks at 10 + 2 level. Business Mathematics will not be taken into consideration in lieu of Mathematics at (10 + 2) level. Aggregate is taken as total marks of best 04 subjects excluding ENVS in 10+2 level. Candidates passing from Open School or from any Council/Board/Institution that the Govt. of West Bengal or Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University does not recognize are not allowed to submit the online application. In such a case the applicant will remain personally liable.
• For Hons. Course (excluding Santali Honours) a candidate must have obtained: Minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
• For Gen. Course, a candidate must have obtained: Minimum of Pass marks in the aggregate at the previous qualifying examination. But no students who passed with Vocational Course or of PH category are eligible to opt for Physical Education and Geography as General optional papers.

For Hons. Courses: Aggregate of best 04 marks+subject/related subject marks in H.S (10+2) will be considered. While preparing the merit list, in the case of the same index number the priority will be selected first by comparing related subject marks in the H.S. exam. and then on the basis of English mark and then seniority by virtue of Date of Birth.

Admission is made strictly on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination, keeping in view the stipulated Rules and Regulations set by the University of Sidho Kanho Birsha and the Higher Education Department of State Government.
