Eligibility for applying in Honours Course:
Students having passed H.S or equivalent examination (in 2017 and onwards) are eligible to apply in Honours Course. Students having passed from the vocational stream are not eligible to apply for the Honours course.
Marks requirement for applying in Honours:
• For General Candidates: 55% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination, Or 50% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in the subject opted for Honours.
• For SC/ST Candidates: 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination Or 45% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in the subject opted for Honours.
Candidates intending to apply in Geography Honours must have Geography in the qualifying examination.
Eligibility for applying in B.A Programme Course:
a) Passed in H.S. or equivalent examination
b) Candidates opting for Geography as DSC-1 must have Geography subject in H.S. or equivalent examination.
c) Students having passed H.S. from the vocational stream are eligible to apply in B.A programme only.
d) Students who passed H.S. or equivalent examination in 2017 and onwards are eligible to apply in the B. A programming course.
