Admission Criteria for Muzaffar Ahmed Mahavidyalaya 2021:
Students who passed Higher Secondary before 2018 are not eligible for admission Honours students are not allowed to take Geography as pass elective subject. Students are not allowed to take Philosophy & Geography together as pass elective subjects. Students are not allowed to take Sociology, Sanskrit & Arabic together as pass elective subjects. Only those students having Sanskrit in H.S. comes can take Sanskrit as pass subject according to merit. Those having Arabic in H.S. course shall be given priority in case of taking Arabic as pass subject. Candidates intending to take Honours will have to secure at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in the subject intended to take Honours or a related subject. Or 45% marks in aggregate, and 55% marks in the subject intended to take Honours or a related subject. Or 55% marks in aggregate in case the candidate I candidates as I have not studied the subject intended to take Honours, provided that other conditions laid down by the University are followed strictly.

Counselling of Muzaffar Ahmed Mahavidyalaya:
Admission is made strictly on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination, keeping in view the stipulated Rules and Regulations set by the University of Calcutta and the Higher Education Department of State Government. There is also a provision of reservation of seat of SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Government Rules. Verification of documents will be done only when the students report for classes in due course.
