Netaji Nagar College (Evening), established in 1967, is an undergraduate college in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta. The college was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in 2007 and re-accredited in 2016 with a B+ grade. The Rashtriya Uchhatara Shiksha Abhiyan grant was also received by the College. The eventful career of the Netaji Nagar College began on the 25th of September, 1967 with evening classes arranged in the premises of the Netaji Nagar Vidyamandir. Construction of the college building began within three years’ time.

Criteria of Netaji Nagar Evening College Admission:
Students who have passed the 10+2 level examination in 2020 or 2019 from any recognized board in India (e.g. ISC, CBSE, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education and other boards of other states) are eligible for application to this college. Percentage of marks in related subjects in (+2)/H.S Examination as per the recommendation of the respective department, subject to a minimum percentage of marks prescribed by the affiliated university. For admission in some subjects, along with the percentage of marks in the related subject, marks in the language subjects are also considered as admission criteria. Relaxation in the required percentage of marks is given for SC/ST/PH and students having expertise in sports and games.
Merit List of Netaji Nagar College:
The confirmation of admission is simply on merit basis. Admission will be conducted strictly on the basis of merit. The subject wise merit lists will be prepared based on corresponding index mark for all categories of students.
