Eligibility Criteria for NTPC Recruitment 2020
Academic Qualification:

| Mining | Regular Diploma in Mining/ Mining & Mine Surveying Engineering with a minimum of 70% marks |
| Electrical | Regular Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 70% marks. |
| Mechanical | Diploma in Mechanical/ Production Engineering with 70% marks |
| Mineral Survey | Diploma in Mineral Survey/Diploma in mining engineering with a minimum of 70% marks. |
Age limit & Relaxation:
For this post candidates, ages should be between 25 years to 35 years. Age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates and PWBD category candidates age limit is relaxable by 10 years as per government of India rules.

Eligible candidates have to apply through the online registration system of NTPC only. To apply for this post candidates are advised to follow www.ntpccareers.net with a valid e-mail id. Selection Procedure:
Eligible candidates will undergo 2 stages of the CBT Test. In the 1st stage, candidates will undergo an online aptitude test. Only 1st stage qualified candidates will be able to call for 2nd stage online technical test. The candidate will be shortlisted for 2nd stage technical test in the ratio of 1:10
Physical fitness:
The candidates should have sound health before joining. candidates will have to go to a medical examination by NTPC medical board. The decision of the board will be final.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to UR/OBC/EWS category are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs.300. The SC/ST/PWBD/XSM/Female candidates need not pay the registration fee.
Payscale:
Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of 2 years at various NTPC coal mining sites and will be paid a stipend of Rs.24,000 per month. On successful completion of training, those candidates will be paid basic pay of Rs.24,000 in W-7 grade.
Note:
The selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs.1,00,000/- +GST(UR/OBC/EWS) and Rs. 50,000 + GST for SC/ST/PWBD . A candidate is strongly advised to send their filled up form to authority well in time without waiting for the last date.
