Eligibility Criteria for Ramsaday College Admission 2021-22 – Ramsaday College Online Application
Admission Criteria:
The candidate must be passed the H.S. or equivalent (having English of 100 marks) examination for Admission to a 3-year degree course.
Eligibility criteria for Hons.:
55% in subject or related subjects. Aggregate 50% and 45% in subjects or related subjects are to be secured. [Aggregate means a total of best 4 subjects], 50% in best-4 if the subject or related subjects was not taught in the last exam. B.Sc./ST. Either 40% in best-4 or 40% in subject or related subjects. SC/ST candidates should obtain a minimum of 75% marks of general candidates admitted last.
Reservations: For SC- 22%, ST- 6% and PH- 3%. Vocational candidates are allowed to pursue general courses of study only. No candidate will be allowed admission after a lapse of more than 3 years from previous qualifying examinations. (i.e. passed before 2009 not allowed).
How to Apply for the Ramsaday College Admission 2021-22

3. Photograph and Signature of each in JPG format, max size 50kb, resolution 100dpi.
4. Migration certificate for boards other than WBCHSE/WBBME/CISCE/CBSE/NIOS/Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya. (JPG format, max size 150kb, resolution 150dpi)
5. For SC/ST/OBC candidates of Original caste certificate from appropriate authority as per WB Domicile Act (JPG format, max size 100kb, resolution 100dpi).
6. For PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates of Original Disability Certificate (with 40% or more disability) from the appropriate authority (JPG format, max size 100kb, resolution 100dpi).
7. Document for BPL Category of BPL Card (JPG format, max size 100kb, resolution 100dpi).
Ramsaday College Counselling:
Admission is made strictly on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination, keeping in view the stipulated Rules and Regulations set by the University of Gour Banga and the Higher Education Department of State Govt. There is also a provision of reservation of seat of SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Govt. Rules.

Ramsaday College Merit List:
Applicants should have passed in 04 subjects of 100 marks each and passed the H.S./equivalent exam as a whole. Applicants must have passed in English (at least 100 marks). Applicants of Hons. subjects having the same merit index will be ranked as per their marks in the subject/related subject. If the deadlock still persists, a candidate who applied first will be entertained. Candidates must have passed from a board/council recognized by the University of Calcutta.
