Sabang Sajanikanta Mahavidyalaya, also known as Sabang College, is a college in Lutunia, Sabang, in Paschim Medinipur district, West Bengal, India. It was established in 1970. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences. It is affiliated with Vidyasagar University. Sabang Sajanikanta Mahavidyalaya was established in 1970 and foundation stone of this college was laid by Sri Swarupananda Paramahansa Deva. The college owes its origin to a princely donation from Late Sajanikanta Giri. At the time of inception, this college was affiliated with the University of Calcutta. Sabang Sajanikanta Mahavidyalaya Admission Criteria:
Candidates who are passing the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent board/council in the years 2020/2019/2018 are eligible to apply. However, a candidate passing the 10+2 level examination before 2018 with the above-mentioned criteria can also apply after getting special permission from the Secretary, UG Council of Vidyasagar University, Paschim Medinipur.
Candidate must have passed in 5(Five)/4(Four) (where applicable) recognized subjects including at least one language subject.
Candidates who passed the vocational Course can apply in B.A. (General) Course only.
For the Honours course, the candidates must have passed with at least 45% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in subjects or related subjects in the qualifying examination.
