About Samsi College:
Samsi College is an undergraduate college at Samsi under Chanchol police station in the Malda district of West Bengal, India. The college is affiliated with the University of Gour Banga, offering undergraduate courses. This is the second oldest Higher educational institutions in the Malda district and primarily organized by the then President and District Magistrate of Maldah, Mr Kamalakar Mishra (I.A.S.) in 1967. People living in and around Samsi donated money and land to establish the college.

Eligibility Criteria for Samsi College Admission 2021-22 – Samsi College Online Application
Admission Procedure for the Session of 2021-22:
Students who have passed the H.S./equivalent examination in 2017 can be eligible for application. Only the students who passed the H.S. examination in 2018, 2019 & 2020 can be eligible to apply provided that they have not appeared in any examination at graduation level under Gour Banga University. The students passed out from Vocational courses are eligible to apply only in General course. To apply for Honours Courses, the candidate must have got either 50% in subject or 45% in aggregate (to be calculated by adding marks obtained in the five best subjects). To apply for general courses, the candidate must have got pass marks in at least five subjects.
Merit List of Samsi College:
Admission will be strictly on a merit basis. The merit point of an applicant will be judged by taking into account 10% of the marks obtained in the best five subjects and the marks obtained in the subject applied for. Merit list for admission will be based on marks obtained in the best five subjects including two languages and three elective subjects for Honours subjects. Applicant having only one language subject will not be entertained.
