Eligibility Criteria for SECR Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2020 Online Application

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed in 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent examination & must have passed ITI course in relevant trade from a recognized institution.

Age Limit & Relaxation:
Candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as of 01.07.2020. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for Ex-Servicemen & PWD. Relaxation in age is subject to the submission of a recent caste certificate.

Period of Apprentice Training & Stipend:
Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices and they will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 01 years for each trade. They will be paid a stipend during their training as per the rules of State Govt. of Chattisgarh. Their training will be terminated after the completion of their apprenticeship.

Selection Procedure:
Candidates are selected through the merit list of 10th & ITI marks on the portal in the qualification section, otherwise, your application will be automatically rejected & through Medical Examination. Ex-Servicemen candidates selected under the reservation of 10% provided for them are to be placed in the appropriate category viz. UR/SC/ST/OBC to which they belong.

Criteria for preparing merit list in the selection:
Selection is taking the average of the % age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculations with minimum 50% aggregate marks & ITI examination giving equal weightage to both (Railway Establishment rule 201/2017). Candidates must fill their 10th & ITI marks on the portal in the qualification section, otherwise, your application will be automatically rejected.

Medical Examination:
Selected candidates may be advice to bring a medical certificate at the time of document verification in the prescribed proforma as per Apprenticeship act 1961 & para 4 of the apprenticeship rule 1992 (as amended from time to time). The Medical certificate should be signed by Govt. authorized Doctor (GAZ), not below the rank Asstt. Surgeon of Central/State Hospital.

⇒ Candidates shall be canceled if he/she fails to produce the required original testimonials for verification or any discrepancy noticed.
