Eligibility Criteria for Sukanta College Admission 2021 – Sukanta College Merit List

Eligibility Criteria:
Students who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination are eligible for admission to the Degree Course provided, they have passed in five subjects and in each subject of the combination of subjects chosen for study. For determining eligibility for admission to the Hons./Gen. aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the top four marks obtained in subjects other than compulsory Environmental Education/Studies in Higher Secondary or any equivalent examination. Candidates seeking admission to the B.A. Hons. course need to have obtained in the previous qualifying examination (HS or equivalent).
» For Gen. Category Students: 50% in aggregate and 45% in the subject applied for or related subjects. OR 55% in the subject applied for or related subjects. OR 50% in aggregate (if the candidate has not studied the subject).
» For Reserved Category Students: 40% in aggregate, OR 40% in the subject applied for or related subjects, OR 50% in aggregate (if the candidate has not studied the subject). For General courses in B.A., a minimum of 40% marks is required in aggregate. A candidate who failed in any subject in the H.S. or equivalent examination will not be allowed to take that subject.
