Tehatta Govt. College Admission Criteria:
Students who have passed the 10+2 level examination in 2020 or 2019 from any recognized board in India (e.g. ISC, CBSE, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education and other boards of other states) are eligible for application to this college.
⇒ Marks Aggregate in HS/Equivalent Exam – The marks of best five subjects (each having full marks 100) are to be calculated as Aggregate Marks and the percentage is to be calculated out of 500. Environmental Science (ENVS) will not be considered as a subject while considering the best five subjects. Alternative English is to be considered as the compulsory subject where Bengali is not present. For Honours subjects, Merit List will be calculated based on the best 5 subjects and the marks in the subject in which the student wishes to pursue Honours. Students passing in the vocational streams in HS are not eligible for applying to Honours subjects. Students passing in the P division of the vocational streams may be considered for the General subjects only.
Tehatta Govt. College Counselling List:
Admission is made strictly on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination, keeping in view the stipulated Rules and Regulations set by the University of Calcutta and the Higher Education Department of State Government. There is also a provision of reservation of seat of
SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Government Rules.
