About Triveni Devi Bhalotia College:
Triveni Devi Bhalotia College, also known as Raniganj TDB College, This institution is co-educational and has the morning and day sections, established in 1957, is a college at Raniganj, in Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman district, West Bengal, India. It is situated in a central location of Raniganj between NH-2 and Eastern Railway. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences and postgraduate courses. It is the second biggest college in West Bengal with respect to higher education with 31 Honours subjects and 7 Postgraduate subjects. Recently, the college has celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2007. Triveni Devi Bhalotia College initiated its journey from 1957 as an affiliated college under the University of Calcutta. From 1960, affiliated with The University of Burdwan and on 24th June 2015, is affiliated to Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol. and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Eligibility Criteria for TDB College Admission 2021-22 – TDB College Merit List, Last Date

Admission Criteria:
Years of passing should be considered as 2020 (current year) and retrospective years (2019, 2018 & 2017) altogether only four years. Minimum marks for eligibility at H.S. (10+2) examination should be fixed at 45% for admission in Hons. courses and 30% for admission in programme courses. All Vocational/Engineering/Technology and Agriculture course passed candidates at (10+2) level must secure pass marks in Mathematics to take admission in Programme courses of B.Sc. (pure Sc.) and B.A. All Vocational/Business Studies/Commerce passed candidates can take admission at B.Com (programme) courses. All Vocational Home Science passed candidates can take admission at B.Com (programme courses).
A candidate taking up Hons. Course in a subject must have obtained:
Minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at the previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied. For the purpose of determining eligibility for admission in Hons. course, it is to be noted that total marks obtained by a candidate in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination have to be calculated by summing up the marks of 4 subjects, (excluding Environmental Studies, if compulsory) in which the candidate has secured highest among which exactly one must be a language subject. If the subject Environmental Science is Studies as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken into account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks.

How to Apply for the TDB College Online Admission 2021-22

Students have to apply online to take admission to TDB College under B.A., B.Sc., B.Com Hons. & gen. ug Courses. The online portal www.admissiontdbcollege.in will open after publishing the Higher Secondary (12th) result. Students can apply for B.A., B.Sc., B.Com Hons. and Gen. courses.

Documents required to be uploaded at the time of registration and form fill up:
• Admit Card of Secondary/Madhyamik examination as age proof.
• Marksheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination.
• Caste Certificate (Certificate issued by an official below the rank of an SDO is not acceptable). However, the Caste Certificate of other states is not acceptable.
• Certificate of physically handicapped/differently-abled candidates in original, issued by Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH), Govt. of West Bengal.

TDB College Merit List:
Admission will be conducted strictly on the basis of merit. The subject wise merit lists will be prepared based on corresponding index mark for all categories of students. SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates from only West Bengal are eligible for reservation benefits.
