Eligibility Criteria for Kaliyaganj College Admission 2021-22 – Kaliyaganj College Online Application
Admission Procedure for the Session of 2021-22:
A student may be admitted to B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. 03 Years Degree Course (Gen./Hons.) after passing the Higher Secondary exam in the general stream conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education in (10+2) pattern after a period of 12 years study or an exam recognized as equivalent by the University provided he/she has passed in at least 05 subjects with English and Environmental Studies as compulsory subjects. In the case of other boards wherein Environmental Studies is not a compulsory subject, the student shall have to pass in at least five subjects with English as a compulsory subject.
For General Course: Subject to the eligibility criteria, the merit lists for the General courses will be prepared on the basis of grand total of the best 05 subjects including English but excluding Environmental Studies.
For Honours Course: Those candidates who would obtain either (i) 45% marks in the Grand Total or (ii) 40% in the grand total with 50% marks in the subject in the qualifying exam shall be eligible to apply for admission to Hons. course in the subject concerned. Admission to a course shall be subject to the availability of seats and based on Merit.

Kaliyaganj College Merit List:
Admission will be strictly on a merit basis. The merit point of an applicant will be judged by taking into account 10% of the marks obtained in the best five subjects and the marks obtained in the subject applied for. Merit list for admission will be based on marks obtained in the best five subjects including two languages and three elective subjects for Honours subjects. Applicant having only one language subject will not be entertained.
