UGC NET Admit Card December 2020: Hereby all the Master’s Candidates who are eagerly waiting to join as Assistant Profession or doing their Research Fellowship are notified that University Grants Commission (UGC) has declared their National Eligibility Test for December 2019 batch. The NTA will release the UGC NET December Admit Card 2019 on its official website www.ntanet.nic.in in November 2020. Candidates who have already register their name for the UGC-NET Examination to be held from December 2019, can download the Hall Ticket only through Online mode.
The UGC NET Examination will be held in two papers. Each paper is compulsory nature. The applicant must have passed the two Paper separately. Both papers contain objective type questions. Each question carries 2 marks. There will no negative marking for the wrong answer. All details related to Examination Date, Centre, Exam Schedule will be printed on the Admit card. No candidates will be allowed to the Examination hall without the hall ticket. Candidates must download the Admit Card only through Online mode. About UGC NET Examination
The National Eligibility Test also is known as UGC NET or NTA-UGC-NET is the test for determining eligibility for the post Assistant professor or Junior Research Fellowship or both in Indian universities and government Colleges. Until July 2018, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the UGC NET exam but from December 2018 onwards, NTA is conducting the UGC National Eligibility Test. As per the press release by the Indian Government, the exam would be conducted twice a year June month and December month, and it will be conducted in an online mode instead of offline mode. Candidates who successfully clear the NET would be eligible for lucrative jobs in Public sector undertakings (PSUs). Candidates will need the UGC-NET scores for the recruitment process of the posts of executives in their organizations in disciplines like science (R&D), management, corporate communications, human resources, and finance.
How To Download The UGC NET Admit Card
- Visit the official website www.ntanet.nic.in
- Navigate to ‘Download NET Admit Card’ on the bottom of the homepage
- Click on the ‘UGC NET Admit Card’ link.
- Enter the issued Application number and date of Birth
- Enter Captcha and Press Submit
- Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
- Check and Download the document.
- Save and Print the Admit Card
The candidates are required to bring a photo identity card also along with their printout of online Admission Card on the day of examination. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination whose admission card is not issued by the Board. To ensure fair conduct of examination frisking of the candidates will be done properly at the main entry gate of the exam center.

As soon as candidates download as well as print their admit card, they are advised to check all details mentioned on it carefully. If there is any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures shown in the admit card, they should immediately contact the agency Help Line between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. within 7 days of the release of admit card to rectify. In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. UGC NET Exam December 2020
UGC NET will be conducted in Online mode. Each candidate will be allocated a desktop with pre-installed software specially created for the examination. UGC NET comprises two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2 which will be held consecutively without any break. Paper 1 and Paper 2 will have 50 and 100 multiple choice questions respectively. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours. Candidates are free to devote any amount of time to any paper. Each correct answer will award you 2 marks. There will be no negative marking in the exam.
