UPSC CMS Exam 2020: Union Public Service Commission has published a notification for their Combined Medical Exam 2020. UPSC CMS Exam is a top-level government competitive examination in India. Through this examination, eligible candidates will recruit in medical service and various posts under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. UPSC CMS Exam Application process will start from 08/04/2020. Selected candidates will have the chance to appear on the examination.
The Application process for UPSC CMS Exam 2020 is in a two-step. In step I candidates have to register themselves with their basic details. After that candidates should choose their examination center, pay their examination fee & uploading the scanned image. After successful application candidates will get their Registration ID and password through SMS & E-Mail.
Eligibility for UPSC CMS Examination 2020
Educational Qualification
- Applicant must hold an MBBS degree from any MCI recognized University in India
- Candidates who are on their final year of MBBS also eligible to apply
- Candidate about to complete with the compulsory rotating internship can also go for Combined Medical Services Exam but will be appointed only after the completion of the internship.
Age Limit:
Candidate appearing in the CMS examination 2020 should be 32 years as on 01/01/2020 of the year of the admission.
Nationality:
- Candidates belonging to countries like Bhutan, India, and Nepal can become part of the examination
- Refugees from Tibet settled in India before January 01, 1962, can appear in the exam
- Candidates originated in India and migrated from countries like Burma, Pakistan, Srilanka, and East African countries (Vietnam, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire) and settled down in India
UPSC CMS Exam 2020 Exam Pattern
The examination will be held in two stages. Stage I is a Computer Based Test (CBT) which has two-part (Paper I & Paper-II). Stage I question will be Objective type MCQs, each question contains 1 mark. The duration of the exam is 02 hours for each paper.
The Second Stage of the exam is the Personality Test. This part will carry 100 Marks.

How to Apply for UPSC CMS Exam 2020
Eligible applicants can apply online through the Official website of UPSC which is www.upsconline.nic within the last date.
Fee Structure for UPSC Combined Medical Exam 2020
Applicant should pay Rs 200/- as an application fee while fillup the application form. The fee can be payable in cash at any Branch of SBI by depositing the system generated Pay-in-slip while doing the registration. OR Candidates can pay it in online mode through net banking / Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
Fee exemption will be available for Female/ SC / ST / PH candidates only. candidates must provide the proof for it
UPSC CMS Admit Card 2020
The UPSC Admit Card for UPSC CMS Exam 2020 will release in 3 weeks before the exam. Candidates can download their UPSC CMS Admit Card call letter/hall ticket from the UPSC website. They will need their Registration Number and Date of Birth (DOB) in order to download their UPSC CMS Admit Card.
