Eligibility Criteria for WBPSC Geologist & Mining Officer Recruitment 2020
Qualification:
› Geologist – Candidates should have a second class Master’s degree in Geography or Applied Geography of a recognized University / Institute or equivalent with two years of practical experience in prospecting various minerals. Experience in Mining and Drilling would be desirable.
› Mining Officer – Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University / Institute or a diploma in Mining Engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad or equivalent or Second Class Master Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute with two years field experience.
Age Limit & Relaxation:
The upper age limit of candidates should not be more than 36 years for Geologist Post and 40 years for Mining Officer as on 01/01/2020. The relaxation would be applicable for the reserved candidates as per the rule of the West Bengal government.
